In 2012, I saw my friend in the United States, read dozens of books on her Kindle, and was amazed at how much she loved her device. I also recall some of the dinner party discussions we attended highlighting how sad it was for the bookstores in the local mall to be closing down. Yet they all had Kindles and read books on their devices.
