Time and time again, I go to a cafe where the venue plays the music that the staff prefer, not the customer. Starbucks was one of the first cafes to hone in on the ambience of their cafes and even released CDs of popular Starbucks cafe tunes.

Now Starbucks has Spotify playlists, and Spotify has hundreds of cafe tunes across all genres, with Jazz being the most popular.
